Bitter Moon is a 1992 Franco-British-American sentimental thriller film coordinated by Roman Polanski and featuring Hugh Grant, Kristin Scott Thomas, Emmanuelle Seigner and Peter Coyote.A demure and legitimate British couple, Nigel (Hugh Grant) and Fiona Dobson (Kristin Scott Thomas), are on a Mediterranean voyage boat to Istanbul, on the way to India. On the boat, they meet the enticing French lady Mimi (Emmanuelle Seigner) and her much more established American spouse Oscar (Peter Coyote), a paraplegic: sour and negative, he is fatigued and a disappointment as an author.
The story unfolds as Oscar welcomes Nigel to his lodge, and lets him know in extraordinary detail how he and Mimi initially met on a transport in Paris and fell energetically in love.Nigel relates all to Fiona. Both are horrified via Oscar’s exhibitionism, however Nigel is additionally captivated by Mimi, who incites him. Later, Oscar describes how they investigated servitude, sadomasochism, and voyeurism. As a differentiation to their sexual bravery, we see Nigel and Fiona meeting a recognized Indian honorable man, Mr. Singh (Victor Banerjee), who is going with his minimal little girl Amrita (Sophie Patel).
